The All illuminating nature of pure seeing is uncompromising

There is an ancient story from Persia called “The Conference of the Birds”.
In this story a group of ‘individuals’ who go in search of the Ultimate Truth guided by one who has a strong taste of the truth permeating his bones.
As the journey proceeds and as they come closer to the Truth, one by one the group is reduced in number. Each departure of a companion is accompanied by his or her excuse of why they cannot go on.
It is an accurate description of how ‘we’ all shy away from truth and how our personality cannot bare to come close to the truth, the light. The light reveals too much attachment to the shadows and the dark side, where the ‘me’ resides, is bathed in more and more light. A sense of uncomfortableness sends the ‘me’ into a panic and a scurry to find an appropriate excuse not to continue. (Ring a Bell?)
The ‘me’ survives on the energy of belief.
In the uncompromising ‘light of truth’ all beliefs are exposed.
This explains why the clear and direct ‘teaching’ is not popular. Popular teachings accomodate the belief in being separate and even encourage it, thus giving safe habour to erroneous belief and thus perpetuating a continued belief in being separate – seeking is not vanquished and the teacher keeps his ‘career’ intact and no one is set free, except in the realm of belief – and that freedom is nothing but a shadow, a story of freedom. That story of freedom is told over and over in order to reassure the teller of the story that he is free. That is bondage, in no uncertain terms.
If you wish to hang onto the erroneous nature of beliefs, then there will be no peace that can be found.
The uncompromising nature of light does not harbour preferences or exceptions.
It shines directly and illuminates everything in its path.
What the ‘seeker’ does not realize is that the light of truth is shining from beyond its façade of delusion. It shines straight through it.
What you truly are is not deluded or lost in phenomena.
One only has to recognize that I AM THAT which is prior to the light and all that the light illuminates.
Nothing touches the true essence that you ARE.
Everything is contained in the SEEING.
SEEING is just like emptiness.
The instrument of seeing is contained IN the SEEING and this SEEING is not limited to the instrument of seeing.
‘When’ the instrument of seeing is recognized as the WHOLE manifestation, the limited view is vanquished.
Once seen, how can the instrument be believed in as being separate ever again?
