Without knowing your true nature, ‘maya’ reigns.

The mind is time.  Being is not in the mind.   The mind is ‘me’.   Searching or seeking through ‘belief’ is completely misleading.  The seeker wants to belong, wants to believe.  It is all dualism and there is no way to get to your true nature via such ‘paths’ and concepts.  It just cannot happen.   ‘Teachers’ must have something to sell otherwise no one wants what they offer.  They usually sell beliefs and fancy concepts about awareness or whatever.  None of it is real.   Reality is thoughtless, concept-less.  It is what you are.  Believing you are a […]

Bliss of being.

What is your true nature? You are reality itself.  Nature, the nature of all things, ALL things,  expresses itself as the appearance, which we know as the universe and the nature of all things. The actuality is reality and the actualisation of the appearance (of things) is the expression.  In not realizing one’s true nature, one measures oneself against reality and finds wanting. Everything is energy.  Nothing can exist without energy.  Energy is the expression.  What you truly are is the potentiality, which is never depleted, used or changeful. It appears that the mind or consciousness is divided by thought […]

Transcending Depression

Putting definitions on ‘things’ and states of being is very common.  It would seem that society is based on common definitions about what is real and what is not real.   At the core of these ‘definitions’ is the dualistic notion of ‘I’ and ‘Not I’.   In this perception of separation there is actually no clear and present evidence to support the division between ‘I’ and ‘Not I’ and that factor is the unavoidable ‘insight’ that is necessary for a transcendence of belief in the unreal. We use language to communicate and we all have definitions about thousands of ‘things’ and […]

What do you know?

What holds the molecules of a crystal together? What quality of life is it that moves and permeates every cell and orchestrates the magnificent architecture of a living body? It is not the feeble reasoning of a ‘me’ that does these things. It is not an isolated doing in any way shape or form. It permeates the entire universe in this very instant.   How could you be separate from THAT?   Impossible!

Everything is relative.

EVERYTHING is relative.   A thought says ‘I am a hopeless case’ – I can see the ‘road’ that such a thought sits on and I can see where it leads.    Equally, in the same way a thought says ‘I am free of all things’ – and not even a vision of a road appears to be connected to such thoughts.   What is real?    Well, thoughts will not necessarily tell me or show me what is real.   I can think my way into all sorts of mind mazes – but can I think my way out? […]

What are your feelings right now?

There are many ways of expressing the certainty of being.  Each expression is unique and each one who expresses something about being is also unique.  Confirmation of one’s own experience may appear to be necessary, especially if doubt is a common occurrence.  In the belief of being someone who is looking for some meaning for being or some ‘reason’ for ‘why I am here’ there is a biased view, which distorts the view.  The fixation that we commonly call ‘me’ is like a lens that alters the view.   If by some chance occurrence, or by some shock, this fixation drops […]

Cheer up – it’s just a story!

Something to cheer you up. You don’t mind boring all your friends with your story and you keep them up to date. Isn’t that what friends do? But you have to listen to their story too! Stories and more stories. If you can find someone willing to listen to your sad ‘story of me’, for even ten minutes, then you are fortunate, no? You may have a close friend who is usually easy going, then one day they start to complain, endlessly and you get weary of it. They just wont shut up. Once they seemed to be wise and […]

Nothing ‘you’ can do.

Many ‘radical thinkers’ have been banished from ‘society’ and ridiculed down through history – yet their discoveries were totally accepted long after they were dead and gone. Why were they not accepted? – Why were they banished or even executed?  Simply because the habits of belief are rigid and dead and fear springs forth when the belief is threatened by something that undercuts it.  A fictional idea can be easily dismissed but something that carries the signs of reality are very threatening to the mind.  Letting go of belief is far too terrifying for the believed in entity – yet […]

Like a voice in the wilderness….

Like a gold miner standing in the entrance of the mine, looking for the entrance, thinking it is somewhere else.  Most seekers, no, all seekers are like a man sitting on a box full of precious jewels, begging passers by for a few coins.  Sometimes a passer by (one who knows) points out that the box this man is sitting on needs to be investigated and even some tell him that it is full of jewels.  He just looks at the box and agrees most wholeheartedly and carries on begging. The simplest truths are overlooked because the mind says ‘Oh […]

Pretending to know the self.

A good friend sent me this quote below. Many so-called ‘teachers’ talk as if they know the Self, and see it to be obscured and clouded by ignorance and illusion, however that very notion is incorrect as the Self is “as it is”, real and unchanging – indicating that even though they talk as if they ‘know’ the Self, it is quite evident, from what they say and profess, that they don’t really know it at all.  By pretending to know the self, how can anything be taught about the self?  Nothing can be taught about the self – it […]
