Impressions of……….reality? + The Axis of Being

Let me introduce a new concept: The Axis of Being.
The AXIS of BEING is the invisible stable fulcrum of ‘your life’ and it is not ‘yours’ as such – it is central to every activity on every plane of being. Like space, it has no perceivable qualities of itself.
The axis of a rotating ball ‘comes into play’ only when the ball begins to rotate.
This axis does not exist ‘physically’ – here is used as a concept and as a concept it may be useful as a tool for revealing ‘something’ or No Thing. This will be explained further on, ‘as if’ it can be explained.
The entire universe moves upon emptiness – and the essence of it all remains beyond the appearances of things – just as the axis of a wheel remains beyond the physical matter of the wheel. The body moves upon emptiness and the hand cannot grasp this space that it appears in. Thought cannot grasp awareness.
This axis is the sense of ‘I’ in the ‘I am-ness’ and is singular in its total simplicity and yet functions throughout the Universe as the heart of the myriad expressions. It has no perceivable or conceivable substance. It is what you are. You cannot find it as ‘an object’ and yet you cannot deny that you exist – you are THAT singular reality.
The AXIS of BEING is central to every activity on every plane of being.
It is the ‘I’ of all sentient beings and is singular in its total simplicity and yet functions throughout the Universe as the heart of the myriad expressions. “I and the Father are one”, a quote from a well known historic figure, is an expression which communicates the essence of One Being.
The Duality of life as we know it can only be perceived as forms in motion, ‘matter’, which all moves upon emptiness.
The axis of being cannot be found because it is like space, absolutely stable, yet unreachable via the instruments of investigation.
It is ‘where you are Seeing from’.
Like the ‘self’ it remains un-provable and unattainable and yet ‘the fact of your own being’ is the singular factor that remains, forever, undeniable.
Nothing separates you from what you truly are. No concept can encapsulate THAT pure existence and it lies forever beyond the grasp of thought. No matter how long you think about it, it remains as ‘the knowing’, beyond the grasp of thought. The closest one can come to it in mind is the ‘I am’. ‘I am’ in words or thought is simply a translation via the mind.
The ‘presence’, that I am-ness, is wordless, thoughtless.
Understanding is ‘silent knowing’.
All manner of expressions may ‘come out’ of this understanding, yet it remains untouched and totally undiminished by the flourishing activities of the mind.
The whole universe moves and turns upon emptiness. Everything without exception is an expression in this Singular Presence.
THIS singular, all encompassing, undivided Presence, is what we call ‘Non Duality’.
Every impression that registers on naked consciousness, awareness, is registering BEFORE the idea that there is someone seeing or knowing present.
The idea of there being someone present registers spontaneously.
This realm of registering is not in some chronological order even though there appears to be a chronological order as these very words register. The space where these words are registering is not divided into past, present and future. The past, the present and the future are ‘creations of mind’ and if the thoughts are dropped, the apparent divisions of mind disappear. They require thought and belief for their apparent existence.
What possible support can a thought give? – since it, thought, itself, is an ephemeral appearance with no substance whatsoever. Thoughts appear to support other thoughts and a belief structure appears to form and it appears to support a central ‘figure’, a ‘me’, and this me is the believer.
In being conscious of these ideas as they play across the ‘surface’ of presence awareness, and in watching the mind there is a possibility of truly seeing what is going on.
It could be said that those who are interested in such an exploration are few and far between but that is just a concept.
Belief is held up as something to be worshiped and protected.
Belief is NOT the actuality. It NEVER is the actual.
Generally ‘people’ cling to their beliefs as if they were extremely important.
If you were to come into existence in this instant, just as you are, you would have no beliefs whatsoever, because all beliefs belong to the past.
Reality for one ‘in such a condition’ would logicaly be far more obvious than for the one smothered in erroneous beliefs. Another concept appearing.
The pure knowing that liberates the mind from belief is always and ever-present for everyone.
The bias of leaning into belief in thoughts and the pre-occupation with the ‘me’ gets in the way of a clear cognition of what I truly am. Another concept that falls short…and that concept of falling short is also just another expression, which is only relative. Relative to what? Other concepts.
This is why it is said that there is no answer in the mind and that the only way out of the mind is ‘full stop’.
Pause a thought or repeat ‘No Mind’ over and over.
A clear view opens up, a view that is always present but it is ignored by a habitual preference for leaning into the thought realm and belief in that as being reality.
It is NOT reality. It is merely appearances and a realm of endless change.
Whatever is established in the realm of thought will vanish naturally.
This note comes to an end – but YOU have not ceased to BE.
